Our members come from a diversity of backgrounds, united in our belief that Australia’s success is best guaranteed by free individuals and communities having a go and making a contribution. We reject our opponents’ belief that our prosperity can ever be guaranteed by big government, more spending and higher taxes.
As a member you can help shape Young LNP policy, have your say on the issues of the day and aspire to a leadership role in the LNP’s organisation or as a Parliamentary representative.
The Young LNP play an integral role in supporting the election of Liberal National Governments in Queensland both in terms of running campaigns and providing important on the ground grassroots support.
A message from the President
After a year of success at both the Brisbane City Council and Queensland State Elections, we saw Australia’s youth turn their back on the Liberal National Coalition at the 2025 Federal Election in a truly devastating loss. Here in Queensland, we lost many experienced MPs to the Labor wave.
But with every loss comes opportunity.
The Young LNP now has a greater role to play than ever before. We have the opportunity to be the voice of our generation within the Liberal National Party and the Federal Coalition. We have a responsibility to not only be the voice of young people but also to shape the policy and direction of our Party for decades to come.
We must remind Australians that LNP values are Australian values: freedom, reward for effort, personal responsibility, and a fair go for all. These are the values that built this country, and they must be the values that lead it forward.
